Acetime respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to permanently delete your Acetime account and all data associated with it.
1. How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete from inside the app (recommended)
- Open the Acetime app on your device.
- Sign in to your account.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your choice.
Your account will be deactivated immediately, and all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to kumbharegk09@gmail.com.
Subject: Delete My Acetime Account
Body must include your registered email address or phone number, your username (if known), and a brief statement confirming you want to delete your account.
We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
2. What Data Will Be Deleted
Once your deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently removed from our servers:
- Profile information (name, username, bio, profile photo)
- Email address, phone number, and login credentials
- Authentication tokens and session data
- Selected interests and onboarding preferences
- Chat rooms and chat message history
- Audio and video call records and call logs
- Post-call context entries
- Dream Board entries created during your calls
- Idea Board entries created during your calls
- AskGPT (AI assistant) conversation history
- Music and reaction activity
- Online presence and typing status data
- Device tokens used for push notifications (FCM)
- Locally cached data on your device (when you uninstall the app)
3. What Data May Be Retained (and Why)
In limited cases, we may retain certain information after account deletion for legal, security, or operational reasons:

All retained data is either anonymized or stored securely with restricted access.
4. Data Shared with Third Parties
Acetime uses the following trusted third-party services to operate. When you delete your account, your data is also removed or anonymized in these services where applicable:
- Firebase Authentication — for account sign-in and Google Sign-In
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — for push notifications
- LiveKit / WebRTC — for real-time audio and video calls (call media is not stored on our servers)
- Google Generative AI (Gemini) — for the AskGPT in-call assistant feature
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
5. Processing Time
- Account deactivation: Immediate
- Complete data deletion from active systems: Within 30 days
- Removal from backup systems: Within 90 days
6. After Deletion
Once your account is deleted:
- You will no longer be able to login with the same credentials.
- Your username may become available for other users.
- People you previously chatted or called with will no longer see your profile.
- You may create a new account in the future using the same email address, but previous data cannot be restored.
